In 2019 I was commissioned by @visual_carlow to make a series of provisional drawings about the state of the world, as I saw it. I completed sixteen drawings in white ceramic tiles, 33 cm square. The show’s title was ‘The best laid plans.’
Four days after the show went up in VISUAL, the Covid lockdown happened so nobody saw the drawings. At that time Donald Trump’s presidency had just ended and Boris Johnson ruled the roost in Britain. In many of the drawings these two characters feature.
